Presented
by the 20th Century Society of the Carolina Mountains. They invite
you to join them for another art, architecture, and design tour as
they explore one of America's greatest cities: CHICAGO! Their award
winning trip to Cleveland in 2006 received rave reviews and they are
planning an equally exciting tour of the city.
TCSCM
tours are characterized by their manageable size and access to venues
not typically open to the public. The ambitious itinerary will include
the Prairie School, Arts & Crafts, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, and
Mid-Century.

Dates set for 2009
Yosemite Heritage Holidays
at The Ahwahnee Plan for next year! There will be TWO
sessions of Heritage Holidays in 2009: March 1-3, and March 4-5. Look
for flyers at this year’s event, and remember – the earlier
you order, the less expensive the price – AND the more likely
you’ll get in! The 2007 event sold out in November, so don't
hesitate.
For
more event information, see the official Yosemite site: www.yosemitepark.com/heritage
(The latest Program Schedule is on the Yosemite site.).
The
Fresno Bee was at the Ahwahnee for the Grand Ball on March 4. Full
